dc.description.abstractThe flexural behavior of the damaged reinforced concrete beams strengthened with various kind of strengthening materials is presented in this paper. That is, the purpose of this study is to investigate how much the capacity of the beam is improved by strengthening of RC beams, and to develop the empirical equation for maximum capacity of strengthened RC beams. The results in this test are compared with results of experimental data and theoretic values available in the literatures.Based on this test and earlier published studies, predictive equation is proposed for evaluating the flexural strength of strengthened RC beams. The proposed equation showed the good agreement with the previous test data obtained from many different researchers.-
