dc.description.abstract | Corrosion resistance of Cu alloy in chloride solution such as FeCl3 and CuCl2 were measured. The linear polarization, impedance spectroscopy and weight loss technique were employed to measure the corrosion rate. In weight loss method, a initial corrosion rate were 189mmpy in FeCl3 solution, whereas 25mmpy in CuCl2 solution. The corrosiveness and metal corrodibility were discussed using planned-interval test. The measured corrosion rate from impedance spectroscopy and linear polarization techniques were compared with weight loss methods. Comparing to the corrosion rate of weight loss methods in FeCl3 solution, those of linear polarization technique and impedance spectroscopy were 60% and 170%, respectively. ... | - |
