| dc.description.abstract | 금융위기 이후 보험업의 시스템리스크를 어떻게 대응할 것인가에 대한 많은 정책연구가 이루어졌지만 개별시장에 대한 시스템리스크 연구는 아직 부족한 상태이다. 이 연구는 우리나라 생명보험산업의 시스템리스크를 경기순응성, 시장구조 및 90년대 집단 퇴출사례를 기초로 분석하였다. 첫째, GDP와 생보사의 대출과의 상관관계로 분석한 경기순응성은 은행산업에 비해 매우 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 생보시장 시장점유율은 계속 낮아지고 있고 생보상품도 대체가능한 성격이라 대체가능성 문제는 크지 않을 것으로 분석한다. 그러나 90년대 생보사의 50%가 퇴출된 사례 분석에서는 무모한 경쟁을 벌이는 생보사의 군집행동과 함께 퇴출 규제의 부재 및 조기 개입 실패가 생보산업의 시스템리스크를 야기했다고 평가한다. 세 가지 분석 결과 현재 생보시장의 시스템리스크는 낮지만 생보사의 잠재적인 군집행동과 감독당국의 감독 실패가 시스템리스크를 증가시킬 수 있다. | - |
