dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the kinematic variables of back high clear motion to improve the high clear technique for the club members. For collecting the data there were two groups divided into elite and club member. Each group was consisted of seven males and performed the back high clear motion to analyze the kinematic data using four digital cameras. The results were as follows: 1) at the moment of impact, the distance of step toward X direction in the club member group was shorter than that of the elite group, 2) at the moment of forward swing, the rotation of the shoulder and the hip in the club member group was smaller than that of the elite group, 3) the club member group had the small change in the angle of wrist comparing to the change of elite group and 4) at the moment of hitting a shuttlecock, the maximum racket angular velocity for club member group was slower than that of the elite group.-
