- Abstract
- 2008년 금융위기 후 국제보험감독자협회(IAIS)는 비전통적 보험영역이 소유관계등으로 보험회사와 엮이면 보험회사의 금융안정성에 영향을 줄 수 있다고 결론내렸다. 우리나라는 2000년에 금융지주회사법이 제정되어 금융회사 중심의 그룹형태가 법적으로 인정받게 되었으나 보험그룹 감독 체계는 미흡하다. 본 연구에서는보험그룹에 대한 IAIS의 보험핵심원칙을 중심으로 금융안정성 제고를 위한 우리나라보험그룹 설정 방안에 대해 논의한다. 이를 위해 보험회사가 포함된 기업집단을느슨한 그룹 형태와 지주회사 형태로 나누고, 지주회사 형태를 다시 순수지주회사형태, 사업지주회사 형태, 외자계 지주회사 형태로 분류하였다. 이 중 느슨한 그룹형태를 중심으로 감독 강도에 따라 1차적 및 2차적 보험그룹을 설정 할 기준 및필요조건들을 제시한다.
