Abstract
Visible light-mediated photocatalytic phosphorylation of alpha-bromostyrenes is described. The beta-ketophosphine oxide derivatives were conveniently synthesized from alpha-bromostyrene derivatives, which are useful synthetic intermediates, using an inexpensive organic photocatalyst, Eosin Y.{Graphical Abstract}
