Abstract
A visible light photoredox-catalyzed difluoromethylation and ring expansion via 1,2-carbon migration of 1-(1-rylvinyl)cyclobutanol derivatives has been developed. This approach offers a facile way to prepare difluoromethyl-substituted cyclopentanone derivatives.
