dc.description.abstractThe purpose of lumbar stabilization exercise is to improve the spinal stability. The purpose of this study was to treat 8-week stabilization exercise among eight dance sport players and 10 participants in a control group, measure the change in lumbar extension strength, flexion/extension strength ratio and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and analyze them. Results are as follows. 1. The stabilization exercise group showed a s ignificant i ncrease i n s trength i n 0 °, 1 2°, 2 4°, 3 6°, 4 8°, 6 0 °, and 7 2° i n t erms o f t he change in waist strength. The control group exhibited a significant rise only in 60° and 72°(p<.05). 2. The lumbar stabilization exercise group and the control group decreased 33.10% and 14.55%, respectively in terms of lumbar flexion/extension strength ratio, which showed no statistical significance. 3. The stabilization exercise group and the control group dropped 53.62% and 15.27%, respectively in terms of the change in VAS, which was significantly different(p<.001, p<.01). In conclusion, lumbar stabilization exercise is effective for alleviating pains in accordance with the rise in waist strength of female dance sport players and it is assumed to be recommended as an intervention in clinical fields.-
