The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the difference of leg length in obese college students on Lt, Rt balance, shoulder gradient and forward head posture. For collecting data, this study targeted 80 male and female college students (32 obese students and 48 normal students). The study findings are as follows. The left leg and the right leg in the obese group was 4.34㎜ and 3.94㎜ longer in length, but there was no statistical significance between the groups. In relation to shoulder gradient, the left shoulder in the obese group and the normal group was 0.13 degrees and 0.49 degrees higher, but there was no statistical significance. In relation to Lt, Rt balance, more weight was put on the right side in 3.83% of the obese group and 0.39% of the normal group and there was a statistically significant difference(p<.01). In relation to forward head posture, the obese group had a posture leaning forward 0.95㎜ more than the normal group, but there was no statistical significance. Overall, the obese group had worse Lt. Rt balance and forward head posture than the normal group. In conclusion, it is thought that for improving a wrong posture, there is a need to carry a knapsack-style bag and avoid the habits of carrying a bag on one shoulder, putting a smart phone or wallet into the hip pocket and leaning the head long hours when using a smart phone.-
