The aim of the current study is to investigate the association between social capital and self-rated health among people who are elderly with disabilities in South Korea. For this purpose, the authors analyzed the fourth wave data of the Korean Health Panel Survey (KHPS) that included a sample of 408 people who are elderly with disabilities. The authors found that the unmet health care needs were significantly associated with self-rated health of the people who are elderly with disabilities (=-.286, p<.05). The authors also found that respect was significantly related to self-rated health (=.393, p<.05).-
