DEA를 이용한 BSC기반의 은행지점 효율성 평가

Abstract

This study measured operational efficiency of bank branch offices thinking that improved managerial efficiency of the banking sector belonging to the service industry will contribute to enhanced international competitiveness. Toward this end, a 3-step efficiency analysis model was suggested based on BSC currently used by banks through the application of DEA method to 155 bank branches to measure efficiency through the use of KPI by stage. Efficiency was measured by model, branch and region, and efficient branch offices and inefficient ones were distinguished through the use of the value of efficiency. Selected efficient branch offices were compared in terms of the results of self-evaluation of achievements to generate implications. As a result, it has been found that generally speaking, the level of efficiency of bank branch offices was not high, and those in Seoul showed higher efficiency. In comparison to the results of evaluation of achievements by efficient bank branches and banks, it has been found that the rate of correspondence was about 50%.
