- Abstract
- The objective of this study was to examine how screen golf users’ participation motive affects their participation satisfaction. For this purpose, we sampled two screen golf courses in Gangnam, Seoul and one in Bundang, Gyeonggi‐do, and statistically analyzed data on 250 users of the screen golf courses. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and analyzed using SPSS 12.0 through t‐test, one‐way ANOVA, and multiple regression.
First, as to screen golf users’ participation motive according to demographic characteristics, the intellectual, social, cognitive and recreational motives were highest those in their 60s according to age, in high school graduates or below according to academic qualification, in housewives according to occupation, and in those with 1,500,000 won or less according to income.
Second, as to screen golf users’ participation satisfaction according to demographic characteristics, satisfaction was higher in old users, in those with low academic qualification, and in housewives and self‐employed users.
Third, among the sub‐factors of screen golf users’ participation motive, all of psychological, education, social, recreational, physical and environmental satisfaction showed significant difference (P<.O01).
