dc.description.abstract스피노자의 비환원적 일원론박 삼 열* 요약: 이 연구의 배경과 목적은 현대 심리철학에 대한 스피노자의 영향을 조사하여 스피노자의 동일성 이론이 비환원적 일원론의 기원이 된다는 것을 밝히는데 있다. 연구 방법과 내용은 현대 심리철학에 대한 스피노자의 영향과 그의 공헌을 찾기 위해 데이빋슨의 무법칙적 일원론과 네이글의 범심론을 연구하는 것이다. 연구 결과에 따르면 데이비슨과 네이글이 정신과 신체의 동일성뿐만 아니라 신체에 대한 마음의 환원 불가능성을 주장한다는 사실은 스피노자와의 실질적 연결로 이어진다. 따라서 우리는 스피노자가 비환원적 일원론의의 선구자이며, 정신과 신체에 대한 데이비슨과 네이글의 동일성 버전의 기원이 스피노자의 동일성 이론이라는 사실에 주목해야 한다. 이 연구의 결론 및 시사점은 무법칙일원론의 발전과 네이글의 범신론의 현대 버전은 스피노자의 동일성 이론의 줄기를 따랐고, 그러므로 스피노자의 심신론은 고전 이론으로서 심신 문제에 기여하고 오늘날 그것을 해결할 수 있는 길을 제공한다는 점이다. 본 연구에서 다루지 않은 중성적 일원론, 심신 수반론과 같은 다른 형태의 일원론을 스피노자 심신론과 비교 연구하는 작업은 향후 후속연구 과제이다. 핵심어: 스피노자, 비환원적 일원론, 동일성, 무법칙적 일원론, 범심론 □ Received: Jan. 31, 2022, Revised: Feb. 14, 2022, Accepted: Feb. 20, 2022* Professor, Soongsil Univ.(숭실대학교 베어드교양대학 교수, Email: parksamyel@ssu.ac.kr)-
