- 로마서 5장 16절의 다카이오마의 통상적 해석인 “칭의” 혹은 “무죄선언”이의미론, 문맥 및 수사적 관점에서 잘못된 판단에 근거하고 있음을 밝히고, 신자들의 삶의 변화를 부각시키는 5-8장의 전체 문맥 및 칭의를 부활과 연결하는 논증의 의도에 비추어 이 단어가 (신자들의) “의로운 행위”로 이해되는 것이 옳다는 사실을 논증한다.
