Abstract
A graphene-nanoplatelet-reinforced (GNP-reinforced) UV/heat dual-curable sealant for narrow bezel displays was fabricated for seamless-design display applications. GNPs with good thermal conductivities and mechanical properties were introduced into the sealant as the organic filler to improve its adhesive strength. As the GNPs collectively act as a barrier against moisture in the sealant, the moisture permeability of the best-performing GNP-reinforced sealant was lower than that of the conventional sealant, and less internal contamination was observed due to its higher adhesion strength. The introduction of GNP improves the properties of narrow-bezel-display sealants by increasing adhesion and decreasing moisture permeability.
