영화 그녀<Her>에 나타난 포스트휴먼과 철학적 이슈

Abstract

영화 그녀는 새롭게 등장하는 과학적 능력이 지극히 개인의 은밀한 사생활에 개입하게 되었을 때 개인이 감당하고 개인이 결정하여야 하는 가치 판단에 대한 문제를 다루고 있다. 논문은 영화의 내용이 포스트휴먼과 현재 연구되고 있는 철학적 이슈들과 관계가 있다는 가설에서 출발하였다. 본 논문에서는 영화 그녀의 내용을 구성하고 있는 갈등의 요소와 관계된 이 시대의 포스트휴먼과 몸과 정신에 대한 철학적 화두를 살펴보면서 어떠한 담론들이 영화의 내용과 연결되는지를 고찰하였다. 영화의 내용을 살펴본 결과, 1. 인간의 신체와 정신에 대한 데카르트와 라메트리의 성찰, 2. 플라톤의 정신을 우위에 둔 생각, 3. 사회적 삶이 인간을 결정한다, 4. 인간의 확장과 달라지는 인간의 정의, 5. 인간의 욕망에 의한 포스트 휴먼의 등장, 6. 인간중심주의의 해체와 주체의 객체화, 7. 매체에 의한 기술적 공생, 8. 인간의 질서와 윤리의 변화와 같은 이슈를 다루고 있었다. 우리의 자연적인 몸은 사라지고 기술매체시대의 새로운 인간상은 인간의 확장이라는 관점을 넘어 매체와 공생하는 인간을 기정사실화 하고 있다. 휴머니즘의 종말과 주체가 없는 인간의 허무함은 반대로 모든 것에서 자유로운 인간이 될 수도 있다는 새로운 인간존재의 출현을 뜻하기도 한다. 기술결정론의 한계를 극복하며, 여러 학자들에게서 고백되고 있는 테크노디스토피아에 대한 문제의식들에 대한 이해를 통해 우리는 앞으로 다시 정의되어야 하는 인간상의 문제와 진정한 존재론적 문제를 해결할 수 있을 것이다.

The film <Her> deals with the issue of value judgments, when the scientific capability of the future is involved in the privacy. This paper start with the hypothesis, that the theme of the film <Her> has the philosophical issues like the post-human theory. I studied, which philosophical issues of the body, spirit and contemporary post-human is connected with the narration of the film <Her>. The contents of the movie, which is dealt with next philosophical issues. 1. The reflections about the body and spirit of Decartes and La Mettrie, 2. Platon’s idea that the spirit is dominant, 3. Human is determined by the social life, 4. The extension of the human and its changed definition, 5. Appearance of the post-human by human desire, 6. Dismantling of the anthropocentrism and objectification of the subject, 7. Technological symbiosis of the medium, 8. Changes in the human order and ethics. Our natural body is disappeared, the new human-being means the symbiosis of the technological medium beyond the extension of the human in the era of the media technology. The end of humanism and human’s vanity from subjectless, means the emergence of a new human-being, so the human-being can be free from the every restrictions. Near of the future, we can solve the problem of the human existence and new definition of the human-being through the overcome the limitations of the media determinism and the understanding of the problem from the techno-dystopia.
