과학과 융합한 유아 미술교육에 대한 교사의 인식 분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 과학과 융합한 미술교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식을 조사 분석하는데 있다. 과학과 융합한 미술교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식을 파악하기 위해 문헌분석, 전문가 집단, 유아교사와의 협의를 통해 연구도구인 설문지를 개발하고 연구 자료를 수집하였다. 설문지는 과학과 융합한 유아미술교육 ‘이해ㆍ요구’, ‘목표ㆍ효과’, ‘운영ㆍ내용’, ‘교사의 전문역량’, ‘누리과정 내용 연계’의 5개 영역 총 25문항으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 256명의 유아교사들이었으며, 수집된 자료는 x2, t-검증, One-Way ANOVA를 통해 분석하였고 집단 간의 차이 분석은 Scheffé 검증을 통해 추후분석 하였다. 분석 결과, 과학과 융합한 미술교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식은 교사의 배경변인에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze early childhood teachers’ awareness of young children’s visual art education integrated with science. A questionnaire was developed based on reviewing prior literature and research, and discussions with early childhood professionals to investigate teachers’ awareness. The questionnaire is composed of 25 questions related to the following 5 areas: ‘comprehension demanding’, ‘objects effects’, ‘method contents’ ‘teacher professionality’, and ‘linkage with Nuri contents’. The subjects in this study were 256 early childhood teachers. Data analysis was conducted by -test, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Scheffé. The results of this study indicated that there were partially significant differences among the groups in teachers’ awareness of young children’s visual art education integrated with science. Finally, ways to promote efficiency of visual art education integrated with science for young children were discussed in this study.
