예체능 계열의 전공 연계 글쓰기 시론 － 사진학과의 작품해설문 쓰기를 중심으로

Abstract

이 글은 전공 연계 글쓰기를 위한 시론이다. 중앙대학교 안성 캠퍼스에서는 2014년 1학기부터 예체능 계열 학생들을 대상으로 <작품해설문 쓰기>를 공통교양 글쓰기 강의에 첨가 하였다. <작품해설문 쓰기>를 글쓰기 교재에 구성하고 강의를 하게 된 몇 가지 이유가 있다. 첫째, 학생들이 자신의 전공을 글로 쓰는 경험을 통하여 글쓰기가 자신의 전공 창작에도 유용한 도구가 될 수 있다는 사실을 인지하게 한다. 둘째, <작품해설문 쓰기>는 실제로 학생들의 창작에 도움을 준다. <작품해설문 쓰기>에서는 작품 창작에 과정 중심 글쓰기의 방법론인 계획하기, 아이디어 생성하기, 아이디어 조직하기 과정을 도입하였다. 창작 작업에 들어가기 전에 작품의 기획 의도, 작품의 주제와 구성, 작품의 제목과 소재, 작품의 표현 기법 등을 명확하게 기록함으로써 창작 작업에 충실히 대비할 수 있다. 또 작품 진행 과정을 기록하여 창작 작품을 정확히 점검할 수 있으며, 나아가 작품 제작 과정에서 문제가 발생했을 때 문제점을 정확히 파악하여 수정할 수 있다. 셋째, <작품해설문 쓰기>를 통하여 학생들은 자신의 창작 작품을 객관화하는 시각을 가질 수 있다. 이러한 경험은 자기의 창작 작품으로 타인과 소통할 때 유용한 의사소통 도구가 될 것이다. 넷째, 예체능 계열 학생들의 글쓰기에 대한 소외감을 줄일 수 있다. <작품해설문 쓰기>는 학기 중에 지속적으로 언급되기 때문에 글쓰기에 친밀성을 유발하는 효과가 있다. 안성 캠퍼스 글쓰기에서 시도한 <작품해설문 쓰기>는 엄밀히 말하면 전공 연계 글쓰기의 영역에서 벗어난 것이라고도 볼 수 있다. 그러나 이 글은 중앙대학교의 계열별 분리 글쓰기와 전공 연계 글쓰기 강의 개설을 위한 초석이자 작은 시도의 의미를 가진다.

This essay's purpose is for trying WAC. From 2014 first semester, at the Chungang University Anseong campus, a literary work explanation writing is added to liberal arts education writing for Arts and physical course of study. There are some reasons for composing A literary work explanation writing in writing textbook and teaching it for students. First, students can discern the fact that experience writing toward their own major is more helpful means of their work's creation. Second, WAC is helpful to students' creation. Before creation of work, it can ready for creation work to document work's planning intention, topic, constitution, title, materials and expressive technique. In addition students can exactly arrange creation of work to document work process of progress and further, in case of problem in production of work progress, supervise the creation of work as apprehending error. Third, through a literary work explanation writing, students can objectify their own creation of work. This experience is helpful to students to communicate with others through their own creation of work. Fourth, Arts and physical students will have friendly feeling to writing.
