설명시퀀스와 다문화콘텐츠 분석

Abstract

본고는 설명시퀀스의 구조와 형식에 대해서 알아보고 이를 실제 텍스트에 적용하기 위해 작성되었다. 설명 시퀀스는 ‘설명’이라는 텍스트 형식을 시퀀스로 구조화한 것이다. 본고에서는 설명의 개념을 정확히 설명하기 위해, 논증과 같은 설명의 주변 개념과 비교하였다. 본고에서 우리는 설명 시퀀스가 텍스트에 정확히 적용되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 텍스트는 다문화콘텐츠로 특정하였다. 다문화콘텐츠는 다문화 시대를 재현한 문화콘텐츠로서 최근 그 형태와 내용이 ‘스테레오타입’이라는 지적을 받아왔다. 우리는 박범신의 『나마스테』의 발췌문을 설명 시퀀스를 통해 구조분석하였다. 우리는 이 스테레오타입을 설명 시퀀스를 통해 밝힐 수 있는 인물 간의 관계를 통해 확인하였다.

This article aims to explain the structure and the form of the explanatory sequence and to apply this sequence to the actual text. Explanatory sequence is structured on the basis of the explanation studied as a text type. In this paper, to define precisely the notion of explanation, We have contrasted the notions of explanation, information, and argumentation. We saw that the explanatory sequence was applied to the structural analysis of the text. In this article, we addressed the multi- cultural contents, which were the subject of our analysis. These contents that represent the multicultural society are being questioned due to the stereo-typical description. We analyzed an extract of Bumshin Park's novel, Namaste. From this analysis, we could verify this way of stereo-typical description through the relationship between the characters in the explanatory sequences.
