- Abstract
- The purposes of this study were to identify the effect of lymph drainage massage using natural cosmetics on moisture, sebum and pores of facial skin, and to investigate the level of satisfaction. Total numbers of 22 persons were received the lymph drainage massage using natural cosmetics. The management was carried out at 2 times per week for 4 weeks. To measure the skin conditions, we used Corneometer CM 825 for moisture content, Sebumeter SM815 for sebum content on nose tip, Facial stage DM3 for sebum content on whole face, and Visioface Quick for facial pores. 21 subjects successfully completed and 1 subject dropped out of the study. Differences of changes in corneometer were statistically significant after 2 weeks and after 4 weeks (p<0.05). Sebum content on nose tip and whole face showed statistically significant differences of changes from baseline to after 2 weeks and 4 weeks (p<0.05). For facial pores, there were significant improvement from baseline to follow-up period. Levels of satisfaction of subjects were recorded high score for this management. In conclusion, it is suggested that the subjects after lymph drainage massage with the natural cosmetics showed more improved facial condition than before the management.
