There were twelve research subjects (7 in the exercise group,5 in the non-exercise group) high school students with disabilities who are attending a high school in Gyeonggi-do. Health related fitness was measured based on basic investigation (height, weight) and physical strength (muscular power, muscular endurance, flexibility, quickness, balance). Also, the psychological measurement tool used was FS (Feeling Scale) developed by Rejeski (1985) and SE (Self-Esteem) developed by Rosenberg (1965). The exercise program of this study was performed for 60 minutes, two times per week for 15weeks. Research design applied 2×3(group×time) factorial design with repeated measured two way ANOVA. The following are the results that were elicited through research procedure of this study. First, the exercise participation of adolescent with intellectual disabilities was resulted in a positive increase in their health-related fitness. Second, the exercise participation of adolescent with intellectual disabilities resulted in a positive effect on mood state and self-esteem. The results of this study can be utilized as basic data in expanding the research on diverse effects and general exercise effects of exercise participation of adolescent with intellectual disabilities.-
