dc.description.abstractPhytochemical constituents were isolated from the seeds of Lithospermum erythrorhizon through open column chromatography and prep-HPLC. Their structures were identified as β-sitosterol (1), daucosterol (2), luteolin (3), and allantoin (4) on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Among them, luteolin (3) was isolated for the first time from the plant.-
