요양병원 여성 암 환자의 의료이용

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 요양병원에 입원하고 있는 여성 암 환자의 의료이용 현황을 파악하고, 요양병원 입원일수 및 입원 진료비 관련 현황을 분석하여, 향후 요양병원에 입원하여 치료를 받는 여성 암 환자에 대한 적정성 방안을 마련하기 위해 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구 대상은 2013년부터 2017년까지 건강보험심사평가원에 청구된 자료에서 요양병원에 입원한 여성 암 환자로 여성에서 발생율이 높은 유방암, 대장암, 위암으로 선정하였다. 분석 결과 요양병원에 입원한 여성 암 환자는 5년간 연평균 유방암 12.8%, 대장암 8.3%, 위암 8.3%로 증가하는 양상을 보였고, 총 요양 비용도 증가하였다. 본 연구에서 요양병원에 입원한 여성 암 환자의 입원수와 총 진료비가 해마다 증가하는 것을 볼 때 여성 암 환자의 요구를 충족할 수 있는 대책 방안을 마련하여 요양병원 입원일수 단축과 총 진료비를 절감시켜 국민의료비의 지출 감소에 기여하고 요양병원 입원진료 적정성에 대한 방안이 마련되여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the medical use status of women with cancer patients, admitted to nursing hospitals and to analyze the current status of hospitalization days and admission costs of nursing hospitals, to provide the basic data necessary as preparing. The subjects of this study were women who were admitted to a nursing hospital from 2013 to 2017, and they were selected as breast cancer, colon cancer, and stomach cancer with high incidence in women by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service(HIRA). As a result, women with cancer patients admitted to nursing hospital increased 12.8% breast cancer, 8.3% for colon cancer, and 8.3% for stomach cancer in annual average rate for 5 years, and the total medical care costs of medical care increased steadily. In this study the number of days of hospitalization and the total cost of hospitalization for women with cancer patients admitted to a nursing hospital are increasing year by year, and measures are needed to meet the needs of women with cancer patients. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the number of days of hospitalization, reduce total medical expenses, contribute to reduction of expenditure of national medical expenses.
