dc.description.abstractOptical logic gates with AND, OR, and INVERT functionality are demonstrated by the monolithic integration of a vertical cavity laser with depleted optical thyristor. All kinds of logic functions (AND, OR, NAND, NOR, and INVERT) are experimentally demonstrated using a differential switching operation scheme by simply controlling an intensity of a reference input light.-
