직장인의 의사소통에 관한 인식 조사

Abstract

이 연구는 직장인의 의사소통 실태를 파악하고, 직장인을 대상으로 하는 의 사소통 교육 프로그램의 필요성을 제기하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 직장 인에게 설문 조사하여 통계 처리하였으며, 요인분석으로 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 의사 소통에 대한 인식의 차이를 분석한 결과, 남성과 여성 모두 의사소통 능력의 핵 심 결정 요소로 공감 능력을 가장 크게 평가하였다. 하지만 ‘전달력’과 ‘논리력’ 에서 남성과 여성의 인식에 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 직장생활 적응 수준에 따른 의사소통 인식에서도 차이가 있었다. 직장생활 저적응 집단은 고적응 집단에 비하여 어려움을 더 겪는다고 응답하였다. 또한 직장생활에 잘 적응하는 집단 은 그렇지 않은 집단보다 직장생활에서 인간관계가 더 많이 중요하다고 생각 하고, 자신의 의사소통 능력을 더 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 토대로, 본 연구에서는 직장 내 의사소통 교육을 활성화하는 방안 을 제시하였다.

The aim of this study was to investigate workers’ recognition of communication skills and, based on the findings, to propose a method to improve workers’ communication skills. In order to examine how workers perceive communication, a survey of 21 questions was created and was subsequently answered by 128 workers. With the mean of Baker and Siryk’s (1984) questionnaire as the criterion, workers were divided into two groups: one of high adjustment scores, and the other of low adjustment scores. Subsequently, analysis was conducted on the way the higher group differed in their recognition of communication from their lower co-workers. The higher group recognized communication skills to be more essential in the workplace. They considered their own communication skills to be better than those of the lower group. The study suggested the need for educational communication programs that could help workers adjust better to office life and improve their interpersonal skills.
