dc.description.abstract본 연구는 KTX 개통 후 10여년이 지난 현 시점에서 KTX의 입지효과 및 KTX 개통으로 인한 수도권 인구집중 완화효과가 발생하고 있는지를 실증적으로 분석하여 그 연구결과를제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 보다 구체적으로 KTX 정차역 입지 여부를 네 가지 관점으로 구분하여 모형을 설정하였다. 각 관점은 첫째, 시·군 단위지역내 KTX 정차역 입지 여부, 둘째, KTX 정차역의비수도권 입지 여부, 셋째, 서울역에서 1시간 이상의 이동시간이 소요되는 도심 지역의 KTX 정차역입지 여부, 넷째, KTX 정차역 입지 지역의 혁신도시 지정 여부로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 위의 모형들을 통해 KTX 개통에 따른 수도권 인구집중 완화효과에 대한 다양한 증거를 제시하고자 하였다. 분석을 위해 도서 지역을 제외한 전국 시·군을 대상으로 하여 2000년부터 2016년까지의 인구이동자료를 수집한 후 이를 결합한 통합분석자료(pooled data)를 구축하였다. 특히 KTX 정차역이입지한 31개 지역의 인구이동효과를 중점적으로 살펴보고자 한다.-
dc.description.abstractThe spatial structure of the South Korean territory has been changed significantly by the operation of the KTX. In particular, the effect of the KTX operation on the population congestion in individual regions has been drawing much attention. This empirical study set out to analyze the effect of the KTX station location and the mitigation of the population congestion in the Seoul Metropolitan Area by the KTX operation. To this end, the 2000-2016 population movement data were collected and submitted to a multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the net migrating population influx had risen by 3.70% after the beginning of the KTX operation. It was higher by 12.37% in cases in which a KTX station was located outside the Seoul Metropolitan Area rather than inside it, by 5.96% in cases in which a KTX station was located in a non-urban area about one hour or further away from the Seoul KTX Station rather than in an urban area. And it was higher by 2.91% in cases in which a KTX station was located in a city designated as an Innovative City rather than in a city that was not. Therefore, this paper suggest that the effect of the KTX station location and the operation of the KTX may mitigate the population congestion in the Seoul Metropolitan Area.-
