승리접근경험과 게임 유형이 손실회피에 미치는 영향: 사교성 도박자인 대학생을 대상으로

Abstract

본 연구는 승리접근경험과 게임 유형이라는 도박의 구조적 특성에 주목하였고, 도박 문제가 발전하며 변화하는 행동 변인으로 손실회피를 가정하였다. 승리접근경험과 게임 유형이 사교성 도박자인 대학생의 손실회피에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자, 두 가지 게임 유형(전략/비전략)으로 승리접근경험(유/무)을 유도하는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 설계하였다. 한국형 사우스 오크 병적 도박 검사에서 사교성 도박자에 해당한 대학생 남녀 68명을 네 가지 처치 조건에 각 17명씩 무선할당 하였고, 손실민감도 과제, 일차 및 이차 통제 척도, 승리기대감 질문지를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 승리접근경험집단에서 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해 손실회피가 낮아, 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 전략 게임 집단에서 비전략 게임 집단에 비해 손실회피가 낮아, 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 승리접근경험과 게임 유형 간 상호작용 효과는 확인되지 않아, 두 변인의 상호 독립적 관계가 시사되었다. 본 연구는 도박 중독의 예방 교육에 있어 도박에 빠져들게 하는 도박 특성을 조명하는 필요성을 제안한다.

This study focused on the structural characteristics of gambling, which are near miss and type of game. and assumed that loss-aversion is behavioral factors, t changes as the gambling problem gets worse. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of near-miss and type of game of on loss aversion. According to the results of a Korean Form of South Oaks Gambling Screening Pathologic gambling test, 68 college students who weren't classified a problem and pathological gamblers is participated. Seventeen subjects were randomly assigned to one of four experimental conditions, according to existence of near miss and two game type(strategic/non-strategic). As a result, near miss group showed significant more decrease in loss aversion than non-near miss group. and strategic game showed significant more decrease in loss aversion than non-strategic group. In addition, The interaction effects of the two variables were not significant. This study suggests the need to illuminate the gambling characteristic of gambling in prevention education of gambling addiction.
