Although theories of TDR(Transfer of Devleopment Rights) are simple, the implementation of TDR has been known more complicated than expected. Such difficulty implies that in-depth case studies on TDR are required to introduce TDR in Korea. This research explores the best known TDR cases especially in the U.S.A. in terms of the designation of sending areas and receiving areas, transfer rate, TDR bank and other administration issues. From such case studies, this research also draws factors for a successful TDR implementation and implications to Korean situation.-
