- Abstract
- The elderly are more likely to have chronic medical conditions that require multiple drug therapies. Purposesout literature research. Taking several drugs together increases risk of drug interactions and adverse reactions. We suggestthat pharmacists have the legal authority to monitor prescription for efficient drug management, pharmacovigilance systembe efficiently operated, and medication education fee be provided to allow pharmacists give more time to the elderly.Keywords . medication education, drug management, elderly patients
