시화멀티테크노밸리사업에 따른 환경손실의 경제적 가치 추정

Abstract

Siwha Multi-Techno-Valley development has recently created much environmental conflicts around Siwha lake area. At the heart of such conflicts there is much concern on environmental loss by the project. As a starting point to resolve such conflicts, this study measures economic value of environmental loss by the project. Using Contingent Valuation Method under the assumption that the maximum size of the project is about 9,240,000 m2 (2.8 million pyeong (坪)), environmental loss by the project is estimated about 1,380 billion won, which is a very significant one.
