dc.description.abstractNoise unwanted variations in the response of an imaging system is an important factor of electronic photographic systems. On the request of digital camera users and manufacturers, the standardization of noise measurement in determining the quality of images can be described in International Standard of Organization 15739:2005. Since the noise performance of an image sensor may vary significantly with exposure time and operating temperature. The visibility of noise to human observers depends on the viewing distance, spatial frequency, density, colour and viewing conditions. This concept is applied to this study, which is called a ‘visual noise', and it is measured by ISOs and shutter speed variables applying noise reduction function on a digital camera. In this study, we will present the practical parameter for the minimization of visual noise to consumers and expect the effective value of noise reduction to digital camera manufacturers. Furthermore, we can expect the following study to measure the human spatial response related to visual noise recognition.-
