dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to investigate the curricula of TESOL programs in Korea. Using program information on the Internet, this study also presents the results of empirical study of the TESOL courses. The sample consisted of 15 TESOL programs in Korea. It was found that the programs have not yet recognized and addressed the different needs of non-native speakers of English teachers. It is suggested that the curricula of TESOL programs in Korea needs to understand non-native English teachers as reflective professionals, agents of change in local contexts, and coaches for cross-culture communication. | - |
