| dc.description.abstract | This thesis is about evolving conception of glass-envelope expressed in contemporary architecture, and it presents duplicity paradoxically. The most paradoxical side is ornament of glass-envelop. The glass-envelop of contemporary architecture refreshes new sensibility by compositing text and image with ornamental elements, whereas the glass-envelop of modern architecture has rational and effective charateristics by ornament of architecture. Therefore, the ornament compositing translucent characteristics of glass represents inner shape as various appearance. Also seeking of ornamental aesthetics of glass-envelop presents illusional image by compositing digital media and imaginative reality. | - |
