dc.description.abstract | 太宰治の後期作品に当たる『ヴィヨンの妻』と『おさん』の時代的な背景は敗戰直後の混亂な狀態で政治、經濟、文化など 各方面で過渡期的な現状が見られている。この二つの作品は妻の観点で挫折して無能力な夫を語っている敗戰後の屈折された社會を描いた作品である。敗戰直後の時代的な背景はこの作品を読み取る重要なキーワードになっている。その当時の日本には各種の改革や変化があっだが一般庶民たちはあまり関係なく一日一日を生存していくのが精一杯であった。それは知識人や社會上層と一般庶民たちの間の隔たりを作品の中から読み取ることができた。この二つの作品は時代に同化されない夫の代わりに家庭を守り、子供を育てながら厳しい世の中を逞しく生きている女性が主人公である。『ヴィヨンの妻』の妻は無能力で不真面目な夫を一度も非難しない純朴な妻であるがだんだん苛酷な現實を経験し、社會の惡と妥協しながら“人非人でも生きてさえいればいい〃と冷徹に對應する強い生活人に變貌していく。『おさん』の妻は始終一貫して優しい夫の関心と家族団らんを求めている。そのためには夫の不倫まで我慢するが、夫がほかの女性と自殺すると今までと違って夫に対して厳しい批判をするように変わっていく。太宰はこの二つの作品を通じて幸福や不幸に関係されず逞しく母、妻として生きていく女性の生命力に敬意を表し、一方では男の苦惱を理解出来ない人物として女性を形象化している。 | - |
