dc.description.abstract | Sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network establish a network based on location information, define a communication path to the sink for data collection, and have the characteristics of limited hardware resources such as battery life, data processing capacity, and memory. The method of estimating location information using a GPS is convenient, but it is relatively inefficient because additional costs can be incurred depending on the size of the space covered. In the past, several approaches, both range-based and range-free, have been proposed to calculate the positions of randomly deployed sensor nodes. Most of them use special nodes called anchor nodes which are assumed to know their own locations. Other sensors compute their locations based on the information provided by these anchor nodes. This paper uses a single mobile anchor node which moves in the sensing field and broadcasts its current position periodically. A weighted-centroid localization algorithm is proposed that uses coefficients determined by the influence of the mobile anchor node on unknown nodes to improve localization accuracy. In addition, this research has reduced the error rate resulting from differences in response time by adding reliability by calculation and compensation of detailed location information using inertia. | - |
