dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research is to review leisure activity of adolescents in Korea and to suggest a rational and concrete strategy for the future leisure activity of adolescents. The reason leisure activity is considered important for adolescents is that it offers an opportunity of freeing themselves from boring and stressful school life, so it contributes to refine emotions and cultivate sociality and morality. Making good use of leisure is regarded as the way of the prevention from juvenile and of the instruction for adolescents. Most of researchers suggest that it is necessary to provide places to refreshment, to cultivate coaches, to offer sound broadcast programs, and to guide leisure activity by the school and family. The situation of leisure activity for adolescents is much more insufficient than adolescents' need. Future research is necessary to give more a developmental device. | - |
