This study is intended to understand the meaning in visual perception based on Gestalt Principles of distorted body composition in con temporary dance. Since 2000, various formativeness experiments of body have been observed in contemporary dance. Functionality in the organic relationship of the body, that is, in terms of physical operation, is re jected and gives meaning to the body itself. The body appearing in this process is not just a sensory representation but an object and subject in the process of perception and thinking. This study aims to understand concepts, characteristics, expressions and symbols based on Gestalt's per ceptual systematization principle embodied in contemporary dance, and to reconstruct body formative characteristics from the perspective of visu al perception.-
