- Abstract
- Due to the increasing environmental problems, discussions on environmentally friendly design are being actively discussed and interest in environmentally friendly fashion design is increasing. Companies are trying to change the changing fashion market with the value of environmental management, green marketing, and socially oriented marketing. Reflecting these social trends, environmentally friendly textile development and design development is actively being carried out in the fashion industry.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of environmental knowledge and innovativeness on knitwear purchase behavior. The results are as follows First, the factors of environmental knowledge were extracted as three factors: natural environment knowledge, pollution knowledge, and industrialization knowledge. Innovation and purchase intention were extracted as a single factor.
Second, the effect of environmental knowledge on the purchase intention of knitwear was found to have a significant influence on the purchase intention of knitwear.
Third, the effect of innovativeness on knitwear purchase intention was significant.
Fourth, in the reason of purchase for knitwear purchase behavior, it is said that silhouette and touch are important for comfort and purchase importance.
