The security USB memory that has been released on the market today has the structural problems of the flash memory. One of the problems is that the update of the data is performed only on a blockby-block basis. To put it more precisely, even if some of the data is updated in the file system, the entire block containing the data is moved to a new space and that block is deleted. Then, newly updated data is to be placed in its original space. However, because the new block described above is stored not in the security space but in a non-secure space, it becomes impossible to protect the information in the memory and is just a simple defensive structure against the information exposure risk. In this paper, we will attempt to provide an improved method capable of removing the risk of the information exposure, which is to make the data hidden by operating the USB configuration information. © 2017 International Information Institute.-
