dc.description.abstractA spatial modulation (SM) using double multi-strata space-time codes (MSSTC) is proposed, which will be called D-MSSTC-SM. Uneven transmit power and phase are allocated to layers of each MSSTC and rotation angles are assigned to SM codebooks to maximise the minimum coding gain distance of D-MSSTC-SM. It is observed that the proposed D-MSSTC-SM enables higher spectral efficiency and lower error probability than other conventional schemes.-
