기업물류정보공유를 통한 물류성과 개선방안 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the improving logistics performance using logistics information sharing among the companies. To this end, this study developed a research model based on the Beer Game which was developed by Professor J. Forrester. System dynamics simulation was used to investigate the effects of logistics information sharing on the inventory costs and the order fill rates of the modeled distribution channel. The research findings are as follows. First, logistics information sharing can allow accurate identified of customer demand, thereby preventing distortion of demand among the channel companies. Second, information sharing for regular products was found to be more strategically important than for seasonal products. Third, if there is insufficient capacity of capital, human resource,and network construction gradational logistics information sharing reduces risk and lowers investment costs.
