Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to suggest a teaching model to pre-early childhood English teachers who were not majoring in English education. The reality of early childhood English education requires a teacher who acknowledges children’s tendencies and understanding of their development according to their ages. A homeroom teacher can be suitable for suggesting to teach English education because the teacher understands children’s individual characteristics during the critical period of development stage. This study examined the effects of a model that uses suitable English education curriculum to prepare early childhood educators through a Micro-Teaching Program. In other words, pre-childhood teachers need to study theories and practice of childhood English education and to correlate them with reality. This study shows that the teacher will study real teaching methods through a model class, using video recording to recognize good traits, and will get effective and diverse feedbacks from the professionals. This study shows that a teacher will learn a creative teaching method through the MPPF training.
