dc.description.abstract본 연구는 유아가치교육에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식 및 요구, 현황을 파악하여 유아가치교육의 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 실행되었다. 서울, 경기지역의 공, 사립 유치원 교사 292명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였으며 자료 분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석과 카이검증을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대부분의 교사가 가치교육을 통해 유아들이 다양한 상황에서 가치를 판단할 수 있는 능력을 길러주어야 할 필요성을 인식하고 있었고, 가치교육을 실시하는 방법으로는 일상생활 중심으로 실시하고 있다는 응답이 많았다. 그러나 가치교육 실시에 있어 보다 체계적인 프로그램 및 교수학습방법의 개발, 교사교육 활성화 등이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 또한 경력, 가치교육관련 교사교육 경험 여부에 따른 인식 및 요구에 대해 카이검증을 실시한 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.-
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to examine kindergarten teachers’ perceptions on early childhood value education as well as needs experienced by these teachers as they strive to provide appropriate value education for young children. Questionnaires were distributed to kindergarten teachers throughout Seoul and Gyeonggi-do areas in Korea. A total of 292 questionnaires from kindergarten teachers were analyzed. The data were analyzed by frequency analysis and percentage using SPSS Win 17.0 Program. The findings of this study indicated that most of the teachers perceived the importance of value education in early childhood. They felt that they were not able to provide appropriate value education for young children due to their lack of adequate knowledge in value and teaching strategies as well as lack of effective educational materials for value education. They strongly expressed the needs for development and distribution of materials for and programs of early childhood value education. They also required in-service training on early childhood value education.-
