보육시설 유형에 따른 음악교육 환경과 교사 인식에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 보육시설유형에 따른 음악교육 환경과 교사 인식에 대해 알아봄으로써 보육시설의 음악적 환경의 향상을 위한 시사점을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 J도에 위치한 보육시설 중 60명 이상의 영유아를 교육하는 민간보육시설과 국공립 보육시설, 법인 보육시설 300곳의 원장과 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 218부의 설문지가 회수되어 그 중 사용 가능한 200곳의 설문지를 최종 분석한 결과 음악교육을 위한 음악적 환경은 대체적으로 국공립 시설이 민간 및 법인 보육시설에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 교사 인식에서도 국공립 보육시설의 보육교사가 음악교육의 중요성과 필요성, 물리적 환경과 인적환경의 중요성, 음악적 소질향상을 위한 음악적 환경의 중요성에 대해 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 악기, 기기, 음악자료의 구비 및 활용의 실태를 분석한 결과 컴퓨터, 프린터, 카세트, CD 플레이어는 대부분의 보육시설에서 거의 다 있는 것으로 나타났고, 악기의 활용도에서는 피아노, 키보드의 활용도가 높게 나타났으며, 신체표현 도구는 보유하고 있는 보육시설이 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to examine musical education environment and teacher perception according to Child-care Center patterns and then provide a strategy of improving Child-care Centers musical environment. Study subjects were head persons and teachers at 300 private/national & public/corporate Child-care Centers in J Do, which accommodated more than 60 young children respectively and a questionnaire survey of them was carried out. 218 responses were collected and among them 200 valid responses were finally examined. Study findings are as follows: National & public Child-care Centers musical environment for young children's musical education was better than that of private and corporate counterparts. Teacher perception was also higher in national & public Child-care Centers than in private and corporate counterparts. As for the current status of preparation and use of equipments, musical instruments and teaching tools, most of Child-care Centers had computers, printers, cassettes and CD players. As for the use of musical instruments, the use degree of pianos and keyboards was higher. As for the tools of physical expression, most of Child-care Centers did not have them.
