미국 그린빌딩 확산의 결정요인 분석: 정책 및 공간적 확산 요인을 중심으로

Abstract

에너지 절약형 빌딩의 설계 및 건축은 도시의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 필수적인 과제가 되고 있다. 이에 따라 해외 주요국은 에너지 다소비형 건물의 건설 규제, 그린빌딩(green building) 인증제도의 도입 등 발 빠르게 움직이고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 미국 내 그린빌딩의 확산에 영향을 미치는 영향요인을 정책적 요인과 공간적 확산 요인을 중심으로 분석하고자 한다. 선행연구 결과의 검토 및 GIS를 활용한 분석을 통하여 미국 연방정부의 정책과 주 단위 정책의 효과를 증명하였으며 정책의 영향뿐만 아니라 그린빌딩의 공간적 상호작용을 GIS를 통하여 확인함으로써 공간적 확산 요인의 효과에 기인한 확산 현상도 분석하였다.

Reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions of buildings are very important in terms of urban substantiality in highly developed core urban areas. The main focus of this study is to reveal effects of policy and learning on green building diffusion in the United States using a qualitative approach. The federal level policy and state level policies are analyzed in the paper using geographic information system(GIS), and this study tries to find out spatial interactions among green buildings which are a proxy of learning effects.
