- Abstract
- Lichen nitidus is an uncommon, asymptomatic cutaneous shiny papular eruption and it can rarely show Köebner's phenomenon, which may clinically resemble lichen striates. It is known that for such cases, the clinicopathological correlation is the most important factor for making the diagnosis and immunochemical staining for CD4, CD8 and CD68 can be helpful to differentiate these two diseases. We experienced a case of Köebner phenomenon, which clinically mimicked lichen striatus, in a patient suffering with lichen nitidus.
