In this paper, a novel method of adjusting the offset voltage between the first and the second sense coil of an eddy current probe is presented. This method can be applied for the fabrication of an effective differential-type eddy current probe with proper probe structure. A probe made in this way has been tested to determine whether it has a sensitivity high enough to measure a low conductivity material.-
