예비음악교사의 피아노 반주능력과 교수불안 간의 관계

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 예비음악교사를 대상으로 피아노 반주능력에 대한 현황을 밝히고, 피아노 반주에 대한 지식과 능력이 음악수업에서 나타나는 교수불안과 어떤 관계가 있는지를 확인하여 예비음악교사의 반주능력 향상에 도움이 되는 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국 9개 사범대학과 36개 교육대학원 중, 연구 참여를 허락한 29개 대학의 168명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 진행하였으며, 그 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비음악교사들의 피아노 반주능력과 교수불안간 강한 부적상관관계(r=-75, p<.01)가 있는 것으로 나타나, 피아노 반주 능력이 낮을수록 교수불안이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비음악교사들의 피아노 반주와 관련한 교수불안에 가장 영향을 미치는 요소는 실수와 긴장, 걱정, 부담감 등인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비음악교사들은 피아노 반주에 실질적인 도움이 되는 건반화성과 관련된 지식과 훈련이 부족한 것으로 나타나 이 부분에 대한 보완이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to describe the status of piano accompaniment ability of prospective music teachers and to confirm the level of correlation between the piano accompaniment ability and teaching anxiety in music classes, in order to help them improve their accompaniment ability. To this end, an online survey was conducted with 168 students from 29 universities that agreed to participate in this study among 9 teachers colleges and 36 education graduate schools nationwide. The results were as follows. First, there was a strong negative correlation between the piano accompaniment ability and teaching anxiety of prospective music teachers (r=-75, p<.01), in that the lower the ability to play the piano, the higher the teaching anxiety. Second, mistakes, tension, anxiety, and pressure were the most influential factors that affect teaching anxiety related to piano accompaniment of prospective music teachers. Third, prospective music teachers lacked knowledge and training related to keyboard harmony which are practically helpful for piano accompaniment, indicating that this part needs improvement.
