| dc.description.abstract | 이 글은 2020년부터 중등학교에서 사용하고 있는 ‘2015년 개정 교육과정’(2018년 고시) ‘한국사’ 검정 교과서의 여성 서술과 이미지를 분석하면서 개선 방향을 모색하였다. 중등학교 교과서를 분석한 결과 정량적인 측면에서 성별 불균등이 심하게 나타났으며, 남성의 경험과 관점으로 내용이 구성되어 있으며, 성 차별적 인식이 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 여성이 사료에서 소외되어 있다는 점도 있겠지만, 무엇보다 중, 고등학교 한국사 교과서 모두 국가 서사의 정치사 중심되어 있기 때문이다. 더구나 계열화 방안에 따라 고등학교에서 전근대사 비중이 축소되면서 지면이 적어지면서, 여성에 대한 서술이나 이미지는 더 축소되는 결과를 초래했다. 한국사 교과서에서 고대 여성에 대한 서술과 이미지를 개선하기 위해서는 성별 안배를 의식적으로 고려할 필요가 있으며, 무엇보다 국가 중심의 정치사 서술 체계를 탈피할 필요가 있다. 교과서는 교육과정의 영향으로 만들어진다는 점에서 교육과정 정책 수립 단계에서부터 고대여성사 서술 방향이나 내용 체계 등에 대한 공론화를 거쳐 집필 방안을 수립하고 교육 과정에 반영될 수 있는 실천적 방안이 필요하다. | - |
