dc.description.abstractQuantification monitoring of 74 samples of Polygalae Radix collected from Korean and China was conductedfollowing the analysis method from Chinese Pharmacopoeia (CP) 2015 edition. However, this method is considered notaccuracy enough because tenuifolin was chosen to be the only marker component for the quality control of Polygalae Radix. The de-sugar products of onjisaponins and oligosaccharide esters including tenuifolin(1), 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamic acid(2),4-methoxy cinnamic acid methyl ester(3) were isolated from the alkaloid hydrolysis products of extracts from PolygalaeRadix. A novel simultaneous quantification of the three components by HPLC-UV was developed, and quantification monitoringfor 17 samples collected from China and Korea was conducted. The results from the new analysis method improvedcomplicated preprocessing method and presented the standard as the using of grand contents.-
